Health Programs Division Award Structure

Given the number of students who will graduate with degrees from the Health Program Division $450.00 has been allocated to encourage students to maximize their performance on the MAPP exit exam. The Health Programs Division has developed the following plan:

There will be 12 cash awards for the students who achieve the highest scores in the division on the exam. The awards will be distributed as listed below.

$100 – top performer
$ 75 – second place performer
$ 50 – third place performer
$ 25 – fourth –twelfth place performers

Criteria to be eligible for an award:

- Must be a Health Information Technology, Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Respiratory Care major who will graduate during the 2005-06 academic year

- Must complete the full on-line MAPP review session prior to completing the MAPP exam.

-Must take the MAPP exam during a regularly scheduled exam session during the academic year of graduation.

-Must achieve a score at or above the national norm on the MAPP.

Health Programs Division students are eligible for college wide awards as well the division awards.

Award recipients will be notified by mail during spring semester.
