What player or players did you look up to growing up?

John Smoltz and Greg Maddux

What do you feel like is the most exciting part of your sport?

The thrill of a tie game in the ninth inning and being able to play the sport I love

What is your pregame routine?

Get dressed, relax in the locker room, listen to music; 45 minutes before game time, I start stretching

What is your best memory playing your sport?

Throwing a one-hitter in the substate game my senior year and getting drafted in high school

How tough was the transition for you from playing in high school to playing in college?

Not too hard; I felt like I pitched up well

Did you feel any added pressure coming to play for a high profile JUCO program like Walters State?

Not really; I like the challenge

What do you like about Walters State and the Morristown area?

The school pushes me to be the best

What is your favorite class and why?

History; it’s my major and I’ve always been interested by it

What is it like playing for your coaches here at Walters State?

They are amazing, and they expect the best and push for the best

What is your major, and where do see yourself in the future?

History; playing professional baseball and/or teaching and doing something with kids
