Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds and Albert Pujols

What do you feel like is the most exciting part of your sport?

Hitting a home run

Clear my head, get stretched and loose, relax

What is your best memory playing your sport?

Playing in the HS state championship game my junior year and the conference tournament for WSCC last year

How tough was the transition for you from playing in high school to playing in college?

The preparation of practicing/workouts along with school work was tough, but the game only changed in terms of speed

Did you feel any added pressure coming to play for a high profile JUCO program like Walters State?

Nothing more than the pressures of baseball itself. Playing at the level I have growing up prepared me for the high profile here at Walters State

What do you like about Walters State and the Morristown area?

I enjoy the simplicity of school and baseball. Although it is college and is tough, it’s laid back. Morristown is a small country town, and coming from a city, I love the quiet and openness

World Civilization; partly the teacher I have and also I always enjoyed history in general

What is it like playing for your coaches here at Walters State?

It’s great. Their coaching and simple guidance on and off the field is respected

What is your major, and where do see yourself in the future?

Pre-Engineering; hopefully playing professional baseball or running my own architectural firm
