YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – After failing to make the field in 2007, the Walters State baseball team has punched its ticket to the 2008 JUCO World Series.

Walters State rapped out 20 hits in the win as Koeneman finished with a double and single to go with his homer while Milligan and Pratt had two singles apiece to go with their round-trippers. Milligan also extended his hitting streak to 25 games.
Freshman Cody Hawn added two doubles and a single in the victory while sophomores Nick Langley and Adam Stooksberry each singled twice and doubled. Jesse Wierzbicki chipped in with 2 hits and 2 RBI's as well.
