Schedule Change For Diamond Senators

MORRISTOWN, Tennessee – Due to the threat of inclement weather, the second-ranked Walters State baseball team has changed its weekend TJCCAA series with Hiwassee.

On Saturday, the Senators (17-3 overall, 9-0 in the TJCCAA) and the Tigers will square off in a nine-inning game at 1 p.m. before playing two seven-inning games Sunday beginning at 12:30 p.m.

In national statistical news, freshman outfielder Dylan Pratt ranks second in the nation in homers with 10. Freshman Cody Hawn is tied for 15^th with seven while sophomore Adam Milligan and freshman Kyle Koeneman are tied for 32^nd with five.

Pratt is tied for 21^st in runs batted in with 26. As a team, the Senators are 25^th in the nation in batting average (.325).

Sophomore David Francis and freshman Chad Bell are tied for 13^th in the nation with four wins while the same duo are tied for 21^st in strikeout with 34. Francis is tied for 26^th in saves with two.
