BEAN STATION, Tennessee - The Walters State golf team earned a trip to the NJCAA national tournament at Palm Valley Golf Course in Phoenix (Az.) by winning the NJCAA Region VII tournament Tuesday at Clinchview Golf and Country Club.

 

The Senators tallied a two-day total of 623 (315-308), which was 31 strokes better than Saint Catharine (322-332-654).

 

Luke Fullen recorded a two-day total of 153 (77-76) for Walters State. Bowin Newgent had a 154 (78-76), Josh Jeffers and Jeremy Cason each finished at 158 with rounds of 80 and 78 while Corbin Norton had a 164 (85-79).
