SALINA, Kan. – Sophomore forward Jasmin Coleman hit her fourth and final 3-pointer of the game with just over a minute left to push Walters State in front to stay in eliminating Lake Region State (N.D.), 59-55. Thursday in the NJCAA national tournament at the Salina Bicentennial Center.

The Lady Senators are now 30-5 on the season and square off against Western Nebraska Friday at 1 p.m. Lake Region State finished the season at 26-8.

Coleman tallied a team-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, including knocking down 4-of-6 from 3-point range. Freshman Rhon’Neisha Taylor added 15 points and eight rebounds while sophomore Dana Garrett had 14 points and nine rebounds.
