Lady Senators Avenge Loss To Georgia Perimeter

The No. 17 Lady Senators avenged one of their two losses by beating the Lady Jaguars of Georgia Perimeter 69-48 Sunday. The Lady Senators are 13-2, and the Lady Jaguars fell to 3-10.
Dana Garrett was two boards shy of a double-double with 25 points and eight rebounds. She was 12-16 from the floor. Megan Rollins chipped in 10 points. Tiffany Travis had nine points and seven assists.
Tanya Turner led the Lady Jaguars in scoring with 18. She was 7-14 from the floor with four 3-pointers. Brittany Cade added 17 points.
The Lady Senators will take a break and return to action on the road when they travel to Caldwell Community College on Jan. 11 and Louisburg College on Jan. 12. They play the Lady Pioneers of Spartanburg Methodist College Monday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. in the “Z” Buda Assembly Hall and Gymnasium.
