WSCC Policy - The "College and University Security and Information Act" as enacted by the State of Tennessee and in conjunction with federal legislation, requires that each college make available certain information within the college's community relative to safety and security matters.  In this regard, Walters State Community College is providing the information contained herein to assure that the college's community, students, faculty and staff are appropriately advised and informed relative to college security and safety procedures and applicable crime statistics.

In compliance with the federal Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act and the Tennessee College and University Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2002, members of the campus community may obtain the most recent information received from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) concerning sex offenders employed, enrolled or volunteering at this institution at the Campus Police Office located in the Information Center.  Information is also available on the TBI's website listing of sex offenders located on the internet at:
