Excel 2003: Level 3

Course Syllabus

 

Course Description

The Excel 2003: Quick Course 3 introduces you to Excel’s advanced features. In this course, you will work with VLOOKUP, templates, macros, VBA, and security settings. You will also use Microsoft’s advanced formatting and analysis tools. The last four lessons in this course discuss project management features so you can collaborate with others in different offices, states, and countries.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course you will be able to:

§   Use VLOOKUP, macros, VBA, and security settings: 25%

§   Create and use templates, including customized templates: 25%

§   Maintain and analyze data: 25%

§   Use various project management features: 25%

Work Standards

§   Please arrive on time for each class meeting. The second class meeting will begin with a review of topics covered during the first day.

§   Please notify me if you must leave early for any class session.

§   Follow the ground rules of the course (see below).

When you work at the computer, don’t struggle with a task or instruction that is not working for more than 2 minutes before you ask for help.

§   NDQ Rule
There are no dumb questions in our classroom. All questions are welcome.

§   Interruptions are welcome

Evaluation

Your performance in the course is evaluated on your performance in Assessment Exercises.
