Outlook 2003: Quick Course 2

Course Syllabus

 

Course Description

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003: Quick Course 2 covers Outlook’s advanced features. In Lesson 1, you will use the Signatures feature to automatically place standard information into messages. You will also set message delivery receipts, format email messages, use Microsoft Office Word, and manage junk email. Lesson 2 shows you how to include attachments to email messages, compress files using WinZip, and use Outlook's instant messaging services. In Lesson 3, you will use Outlook to schedule meetings involving multiple persons and resources. This lesson also shows you how to save a calendar as a Web page. Lesson 4 concludes the book with topics to help you organize and manage Outlook data. You will move and copy email messages between folders, customize your views of Outlook data, use search folders, and archive old data items.

§   Please arrive on time for each class meeting. The second class meeting will begin with a review of topics covered during the first day.

Evaluation

Your performance in the course is evaluated on your performance in the Skill Builder and Assessment exercises.
