PowerPoint 2003 - Level 2

Course Description

Microsoft PowerPoint 2003: Quick Course 2 covers the features and functions of Microsoft PowerPoint from the intermediate through the advanced levels. The course begins with working with charts, tables, and Office applications. Making use of the powerful capabilities for Internet-based communication, online presentations, and online collaboration are covered. Customization of templates, color scheme elements, and multimedia provide further enhancements. Transporting presentations from your computer to another computer and other vital components of a successful presentation are also discussed.

Work Standards

§   Please arrive on time for each class meeting. The second class meeting will begin with a review of topics covered during the first day.

§   Please notify me if you must leave early for any class session.

§   Follow the ground rules of the course (see below).

§   2-Minute Rule
When you work at the computer, don’t struggle with a task or instruction that is not working for more than 2 minutes before you ask for help.

§   NDQ Rule
There are no dumb questions in our classroom. All questions are welcome.

§   Interruptions are welcome
Feel free to raise your hand to ask a question at any time, this includes lecture presentations. 

Evaluation

Your performance in the course is evaluated on your performance in Assessment Exercises with the following skill areas:

§   Basic presentation skills: 50%

§   Intermediate presentation skills: 30%

§   Advanced presentation skills: 20%
