S*T*A*R Leadership

360 Communications

S*T*A*R Leadership has become one of the most sought after leadership programs in Tennessee. Participants enroll for one program per month for ten months. Students learn STRATEGY * TACTICS * ACTION * RESULTS to become more effective leaders.

Participants learn how to be more effective communicating with management, peers, subordinates and customers. Each participant will complete the on-line DISC personality profile and learn how to understand different personality types in order to improve communication, minimize conflict and maximize performance.

DISCover Definitions

  1. DISC is the universal language of observable human behavior and emotions. It is based on consistent behavior patterns that everyone exhibits.
  2. DISC is not a measurement of: Intelligence, Values, Skills, Education or Training. It is based on the psychology of the individual.
  3. DISC is the language of “How” we behave… not WHY.
  4. DISC categorizes behavioral factors that all people exhibit in varying degrees of intensity.  Everybody has each of the DISC traits.  Some are more dominant than others.
  5. DISC is observable, universal, neutral & silent. It is what it is.
