Rel Maples Institute Announces Spring Events

Enjoy some unique and tasty meals this semester at the Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts at Walters State’s Sevier County Campus. The program offers technical certificates and associate degrees and is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission.
•Tuesday, Feb. 13 – Mardis Gras Brunch, 11 a.m., $15
•Wednesday, March 14 – St. Patrick’s Day Lunch, noon, $15
•Monday, March 26 – Brunch, 11 a.m., $15
•Wednesday, April 4 – Tex-Mex featuring Monterey Chicken, noon, $15
•Saturday, April 14 – Seafood Fest, 5 p.m., $25
•Wednesday, April 25 – New York City Cuisine featuring Fresh Pasta Primavera, noon, $15
•Wednesday, May 2, Cuisine from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands featuring Conch Fritters, noon, $15.

In addition to these special events, the Mountain Rose Bistro is open for lunch from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. The Bistro opens for breakfast from 8-10:30 a.m. on Thursday. 
The Mountain Rose Bakery is open from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. every Tuesday.
All events are in the Conner Short Center on the Sevier County Campus, located at 1720 Old Newport Highway in Sevierville.
