Fall semester registration continues at Walters State Community College. Regular registration continues through Aug. 24, with late registration running through Aug. 29. Late registration carries a $25 fee. Classes begin Aug. 25
The college offers courses in over 100 programs of study. Associate degrees are awarded in many fields for students transferring to four-year universities, with the Tennessee Transfer Pathway now guaranteeing that credits will transfer. The college also grants associate of applied science degrees and technical certificates for students who plan to enter the workforce immediately after attending Walters State.
Classes are offered at Morristown, Greeneville, Sevierville and Tazewell campuses and at other locations throughout the area. Additionally, over 80 classes are offered completely or partially online, ranging from basic writing to western civilization.
