Overview:

The Division of Public Safety offers approximately 45 specialized police schools each year, serving upper east Tennessee police departments and sheriff’s offices. The courses offered are coordinated with the respective departments in order to fulfill their training needs. The courses are offered in conjunction with the college academic year to assist officers seeking a degree in the Criminal Justice.
