Michael Hingson and guide dog Roselle sit on a park bench.Michael Hingson
New York Times Bestselling Author
And 9/11 Hero

Blind since birth, Michael was East Atlantic Sales Manager for a tech company and worked on the 78th floor of World Trade Center Tower One. When the tower was hit by the first plan on 9/11, he and his guide dog Roselle led co-workers down over 1,400 steps to safety. Now, he owns his own firm and frequently consults and speaks about issues of team work, inclusion and technology. Michael holds a master’s degree in physics and has received many honors and awards – both before and after 9/11.

This is a Global Connections Yellow Ticket Event – check with professors to see if you can get extra credit for attending.

This is also a Workforce Employer Outreach Committee (WEOC) event.  WEOC members and employers may RSVP or get more information by contacting Adina Chumley.
