My father, Howard Hutcherson

What do you feel like is the most exciting part of your sport?


What is your pregame routine?

Stay relaxed, do about 100 sit ups and pray

What is your best memory playing your sport?

Improving every year and being able to teach the game to others and have people look up to me

How tough was the transition for you from playing in high school to playing in college?

It was definitely different compared to where I played. The game is more competitive and faster

Did you feel any added pressure coming to play for a high profile JUCO program like Walters State?

No not really. Even though it is different, I like how coach says he expects a lot. It makes me want to work harder

What do you like about Walters State and the Morristown area?

There are a lot of friendly people and this town is a lot like my hometown

What is your favorite class and why?

Math because it’s something that I am really good at

What is it like playing for your coaches here at Walters State?

I really enjoy it. They are fun to be around

What is your major, and where do see yourself in the future?

Nursing; I see myself working in a hospital or pediatric office
