Tabbie Lou Flinn Linton, A.S. Nursing, is now working as a consultant with Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation in
Memphis. After leaving Walters State, she earned a BSN in nursing from Memphis State University in 1988 and received a
master’s degree in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University in 1998. Linton currently lives in Cordova with
her husband, Mark Emerson Linton; her three children, Cassie, Angie and Mark; and step grandchild, Graye.
James D. Parks Jr., A.S. Business, is working as an operations manager for Summit Medical Group. He also spent ten years as
the chief technician of the nuclear medicine department at the University of Tennessee Hospital. Parks earned a MBA from the
University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. He currently lives in Kodak with his wife, Trena Dunn Parks.
Richard “Rick” Hill III, A.S. General Studies, is now working as a test engineer. He completed a B.S. in management infor
mation systems at the University of Alabama, Huntsville in 2001. He now resides in Big Cove, Ala. with his wife Janeil B. Hill.
Gary Shelton, A.S. Management, has been named Bank of America’s senior banking executive for Greene County. He and his
wife JoAnne have two children.
Wanda O. Holt, A.S. Business Management, now lives in Greeneville where she works as a professional speaker and trainer.
She is married to Jerry L. Holt. The couple has two children and one grandchild.
Regina L.J. Brotherton, A.S. Business, is a doctor of veterinary medicine in Piney Flats. She now lives in Bluff City with her
husband, Ricky Brotherton.
Martin Lewis Treece, A.S. General Studies, is a shift test engineer in the nuclear engineering and planning department at
Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va. After graduating from WSCC, Treece earned a B.S. in mathematics from Morris
Brown College in 1994 and a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Tech in 1994. He is married to
Chermaine LaShonte´ Sims. The couple has one daughter, Jasmine Kiera Treece.
Nathan Stephen Ballinger, A.S. General Studies, currently lives in Hendersonville with his wife Elizabeth Vance Ballinger and
the couple’s son, Lawson Ford Ballinger. The former WSCC baseball player continued his playing career at Nashville’s
Belmont University, where he earned a B.S. degree in 2000. He works for Ballinger Landscape.
Amy Lee Ann Lindsey, A.S. Elementary Education, lives in Newport and is now attending Carson-Newman College.
