Homecoming Returns to Walters State!
November 3, 2017

Walters State is celebrating homecoming and we want you to join us! The Division of Student Affairs has a great week planned Nov. 13-17.
The week will be capped with a Homecoming Dance immediately following the men’s basketball game on Friday. A professional d.j. will be playing your favorite songs and you don’t need a date. Admission is free.
Here’s the schedule:
Monday – free hot chocolate, coffee and pastries in the Lyceum Café at 9 a.m. This is sponsored by the BCN and SGA and is open to all students, faculty and staff.
Tuesday – free sandwiches and bottled water in the Humanities and MBSS buildings. This is sponsored by SGA and all students, faculty and staff are invited.
Wednesday – game day, sponsored by SGA. Join us outside in the QUAD (College Center Lobby in case of bad weather) for ping pong, corn hole, spike ball, can jam and giant jenga. This is sponsored by SGA.
Thursday – school spirit day. Wear your Walters State gear to show your support for the Lady Senators and Senators. This is sponsored by Student Affairs.
Friday – Lady Senators and Senators host Southwest Tennessee Community College, with festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. The first 250 Walters State students will receive Homecoming T-Shirts and the first 500 attending will receive shakers.
Ms. Walters State and the Walters State Princess will be crowned during half-time of the men’s game.
