Elijah CodyElijah Cody
SGA President

Elijah served as freshman representative last year. He is a psychology major and is active in the BCM. He plans to transfer to Carson-Newman University following his sophomore year.

“I am a voice for students. I strive to hear the concerns and opinions of students. We have a great SGA team this year and we are committed to making WSCC a better place.

Eventually, I hope to graduate from Carson-Newman and go to seminary. I want to be a full-time missionary in Africa.”

Joseph ChandlerJoseph Chandler
SGA Vice President

Joseph is a business administration major. He is active in the BCM and enjoys sports of all types. He plans to transfer to the University of Tennessee after his sophomore year.

“I want to be able to help students and facilitate their ideas to make Walters State even better than it is. I want to be available when needed. I want to be a strong voice and help lead students through this year.

Kaylee LindgrenKaylee Lindgren
SGA Secretary/Treasurer

Kaylee is a social work major who plans to pursue a graduate degree in speech pathology. She is active in the Senators Pages, Phi Theta Kappa, the Student Teachers Education Association and several committees.  She volunteers at Kingswood Home for Children in Bean Station.

“My goal for this year is to help students at Walters State in any way possible. I look forward to serving Walters State students this year as secretary/treasurer.”

SGA Freshman Representative

Mary Katherine is a general studies major. She enjoys reading and singing.

“May aim is to help the student body voice their opinions and thoughts so that we can make the campus more efficient and productive while we further our education. I am honored to be part of SGA and can’t wait to make a positive impact within our college.”

SGA Claiborne Campus Representative

Taylor is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and is a general studies major. He plans to transfer to a four-year university.

“I would like to be a voice for the students on the Claiborne County Campus so that everyone can have a say. I want to help SGA make the time students spend at Walters State as enjoyable as possible.”

Logan CraftLogan Craft
SGA Sevier County Campus Representative

Logan is a sophomore history major. He is a member of the Sevier County Ambassadors, Phi Theta Kappa and volunteers for several organizations. He plans to transfer to the University of Tennessee and hopes to one become a judge.

“It is my deepest wish that I am an effective voice of the study body and truly succeed at representing them in the Student Senate. I feel so blessed and honored t be part of the WSCC Student Government Association. I eagerly encourage and all students to seek me out with any questions or concerns.

Selena Hoyle
SGA Greeneville/Greene County Campus Representative

Selena is a respiratory therapy major. She is employed by Boone’s Creek Medical. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

“I strive to represent students by striving for their interests, communicating with staff and administrators. I want to provide direction and support for students.”
