WSCC Academic Performance Scholarships (APS)

• Minimum High School G.P.A. of 2.9 and ACT Composite Score of 19
• Recipients are required to work 75 hours per semester on campus
• Complete WSCC Scholarship Application
• Deadline March 15
• Renewable for second year of study
• Recipients must be full-time (12 or more hours) and maintain a 2.5 semester and cumulative G.P.A. at WSCC

Sevier County Partners in Progress Program

• Graduate of accredited Sevier County High School or state-approved private school or G.E.D. diploma
• Minimum High School G.P.A. of 2.7 or ACT Composite Score of 19
• Have a custodial parent or court-appointed legal guardian who resided within the boundaries of Sevier County as of September 1 prior to the student’s high school graduation date
• Complete admissions application to WSCC by (Priority deadline May 1) and November 1 (for Spring)
• Complete WSCC Scholarship Application (Priority deadline March 15).  Others will be awarded if funding is available.  www.ws.edu/Admission/FinancialAid/scholarship.asp
• Complete application for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Please allow 2-3 weeks for on-line processing (www.fafsa.ed.gov) and 6 weeks for paper processing.
• Recipients must be full-time (12 or more hours) and maintain Satisfactory Progress Standards as required for Financial Aid
• Awards will be made as long as funding is available.
