Division of Business and Technical Education

The division of Business and Technical Education provides high-quality educational programs that prepare students for careers in business, industry, agriculture, and/or academic coursework for those planning to transfer to a four-year institution. Programs are accredited by their respective organizations including the American Bar Association, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, and the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering.

The Health Programs division provides education leading to the associate of applied science degree in nursing, physical therapist assistant, health information technology, and respiratory care. Students may also earn a technical certificate for pharmacy technician, medical coding, medical insurance specialist, and medical transcription.

The Public Safety division provides educational services to individuals desiring to enter the public safety career field, skills training for those currently employed and appropriate academic course work to those who plan to transfer to a four-year institution of higher education.
