Becoming a Walters State student is easy. Just
complete an application and
mail it with a $10 process fee to the college’s
Admissions and
Registration Services Department.
If you’re under 21 and you haven’t taken the ACT or if you’re over
21 and you haven’t taken the COMPASS test, call the
Counseling and Testing Office
at (423) 585-6800 or 1-800-225-4770 option 3 to schedule a test. These aren’t admissions tests
and you can’t pass or fail. The results will be used to help
determine which classes you should take.
You’ll also want to make an appointment with the
Financial Aid Office at (423)
585-6811 to learn more about programs that may help you pay for
college.
