Statement of Purpose:
The department of
Student Support Services provides assistance for students who may need
help with a variety of academic and personal student issues. Student
Support Services includes Services for Individuals with
Disabilities, Student Tutoring, Diversity Services and Programs
and Graduate Follow-Up Services. The department strives to
provide services that support students as they clarify educational,
career, and personal goals. Academic and personal concerns are addressed
through referrals when appropriate, tutoring, disability, diversity and
follow-up services. It is the intent of this department to respond to
the unique needs of students and to provide a climate that supports and
encourages each student and the measure of success they select for
themselves. Staff members are completely committed to a mission
of student success and student retention.
