Senators Down Maryville College JV

Michael Jenkins records a double-double and Laquantis Stewart tosses in 21 points for the Senators in a 76-72 win over the fighting Scots of Maryville College Thursday. The Senators improved to 14-1 on the season. The JV squad of Maryville College fell to 6-4.
Stewart was 10-17 from the floor including a 3-pointer. He led all scorers. Jenkins chipped in 13 points and hauled down 12 boards. For the second times in as many nights, Terrance Britt had nine points and nine assists. AJ Thomas finished with 11 points.
"When Maryville College show up," said Head coach Bill Carlyle, "you had better be ready to play. Our defense is nowhere where I want it to be, but we are still maturing. We'll get there."
Tyler Fosnes led Maryville with 18 points including four treys. Jonas Darden drains four treys.
The Senators will return to conference play Saturday, Dec. 8 when the host the Patriots of Saint Catherine College. The Lady Senators will play at 2 p.m. The Senators will play at 4 p.m.
