All users of WSCC’s computer and information systems, including web facilities and resources, are expected to remain compliant with regard to copyright law and be aware of the basic requirements of the 1998 Act. Users are also to be provided with access to the college’s associated policies and procedures for institutional compliance with copyright requirements via the Walters State home page.

  4. established procedures for responding to infringement/complaints (including a process for blocking access, providing for counter claims and establishing time periods for lawsuits); and
  5. established internal administrative procedures for disconnecting offending users when the college is made aware of repeated violations.

These policies and procedures are appropriately referenced on the college’s home page or in related institutional policy and procedures.
