Students applying to the program must meet the colleges general admission
requirements. Pharmacy Technician students are not required to take or complete the
colleges Compass exam or any developmental/remedial courses prior to enrolling in
the program.
Once enrolled in the program, the student must complete the
application containing: Criminal Conviction form, Drug/Alcohol Consent,
Confidentiality Agreement, Work History, Personal Reference and Release form. A student must
indicate on the consent and release form that they are drug free and will be willing to
submit to a drug test at any time during the program if requested by the director or
clinical affiliate. A positive drug test may result in grounds for immediate dismissal.

While in the program, students must comply with the colleges policies and
successfully meet program curriculum requirements.
Prior to the clinical training phase of the program, the student must obtain the
following: a physical examination, laboratory tests, immunizations, and liability
insurance, criminal background check (at facilities request) all at the students expense. Liability insurance is obtained in the
amount specified by the programs director.
Program graduation requirements include the successful completion of the courses listed
below with a minimum grade of "C" in each course.
