The Office of Community and Economic Development offers over 650 noncredit "CEU" courses for manufacturing industries, small businesses, personal enrichment, medical facilities, hospitality groups or just simply for pleasure.  These affordable, quality programs are offered almost monthly at our Morristown Campus as well as options for onsite delivery.  In addition, we offer customized solutions that can be delivered onsite at your organization tailored to improve employee skills, increase productivity, introduce new technologies, develop supervisors, maintain safety standards and many more. Our office oversees the Institute for Business and Industry and the Greeneville Center for Technology. If you are looking for a new career, you might review our certificate programs. 

In addition to training solutions, our office handles requests to use Walters State facilities on all campuses.  Plus we have a “Speaker’s Bureau” with entertaining, expert speakers for your next event. So check out our programs. You’ll like what you see!

FACILITIES FEE STRUCTURE Walters State Community College has facilities available for special events, corporate and non-profit meetings.  Faculty, staff and student clubs wishing to use facilities for academic and non-academic use of the college and members of the public or public groups who would like to use campus buildings or outdoor areas during regular scheduled work hours or off-hours must obtain an application from the Office of Community and Economic Development.  Forms may be downloaded from the list below or a hard copy may be obtained by contacting Kristine Galitza at 423-585-2675 or by e-mail Kristine.Galitza@ws.edu.
