R. Jack Fishman Library

The R. Jack Fishman Library houses over 50,000 volumes, 17 databases and a friendly, helpful staff to help you find exactly what you need. You’ll also find current periodicals, a computer lab and plenty of study spaces. The Catron Art Gallery, located inside the R. Jack Fishman Library, hosts both student and professional exhibits

To schedule Library Room 201 for an orientation or Computer Lab 201, please fill out the form below. Preference will be given to orientations scheduled at least two weeks in advance of the desired date.

The Walters State Community College Library has academic resources, tools, and services that are essential in completing academic assignments and conducting research. Faculty members may arrange to have a library orientation session to introduce students to online library academic databases and print resources.

To schedule a library orientation session, please complete the form below and click submit. Schedule sessions a minimum of two (2) weeks in advance of the desired date. Requests of less than two (2) weeks notice will be considered along with other requests from instructors who want to schedule the Library Computer Lab 201 for other instructional uses. Confirmation of your request will be sent by e-mail and confirmed on the library orientation schedule calendar (see above link).
