President – Jared Thacker

My name is Jared Thacker, and I am the SGA President.  I graduated from Morristown-Hamblen High School East, and I am currently a sophomore at Walters State.  I plan to transfer to a four-year institution in the fall of 2007.

Vice President – Lacey Kington

My name is Lacey Kington, and I am the SGA Vice President.  I attended Morristown-Hamblen West High School and reside in Morristown.  I am a sophomore at Walters State majoring in Education.  I plan to transfer to ETSU in the fall of 2007.  I am also involved with the Senators Pages.

Secretary/Treasurer – Chasity Porter

My name is Chasity Porter, and I am the SGA Secretary/Treasurer.  I have been involved with SGA ever since I began college.  I am a sophomore at Walters State majoring in Business Management.  I am also Vice President of the Senators Pages.

Sophomore Representative – Julie Walters

My name is Julie Walters, and I am the SGA Sophomore Representative.  I graduated from Jefferson County High School.  I am majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy at Walters State and plan to attend a four-year university next fall.  I am also Captain of the WSCC Cheerleading Squad, a member of the Senators Pages, and a member of the Science Club.

Freshman Representative – Maura Jarnagin

My name is Maura Jarnagin and I am the SGA Freshman Representative.  I grew up and presently live in Bean Station.  I am a graduate of Rutledge High School.  I am majoring in Pre-Pharmacy.  My experiences at Walters State have been very positive.  Students and instructors alike have been friendly and helpful.  I appreciate the opportunity I have been given to Walters State and look forward to the next two years.

Sevier County Campus Representative – Jeremy Adams

My name is Jeremy Adams, and I am the Sevier County Campus Representative.  I am currently a sophomore at Walters State majoring in Business.  Upon my completion of studies at Walters State, I plan to attend a seminary school.  I am currently the youth intern at my church.  This will be my second year serving at the representative for Sevier County Campus, and I am excited about the events planned this year.

Greeneville/Greene County Campus Representative – Timothy Gainey

My name is Timothy Gainey, and I am the Greeneville Greene County Campus Representative.  I am a graduate of Hartsville High School in Hartsville, South Carolina.  I am majoring in Elementary Education K-12 and plan to transfer to ETSU after my completion of studies at Walters State.
